
ST. LOUIS - Northern Iowa's Kim Wypiszynski and K.K. Armstrong were recognized as the Missouri Valley Conference announced its all-conference teams Wednesday.
Wypiszynski was named all-conference honorable mention, while Armstrong made the all-freshman squad.
Wypiszynski, a junior transfer from Green Bay, Wis., leads UNI with 12.9 points per game, including 14.8 points per game in conference play. She was named the MVC newcomer of the week three times and was named conference player of the week on March 9.
Armstrong, a freshman guard out of Cedar Rapids Washington, leads the Panthers in assists with 3.1 per game, while scoring at an 8.6 points-per-game clip. She was the MVC's newcomer of the week for March 2.
The Panthers will meet Drake in the quarterfinal round of the MVC tournament in a game scheduled for 8:35 p.m. Friday.
