KANSAS CITY (1) - Signed Kyle Farnsworth, rhp, Detroit, to a $9.25 million, two-year contract.

LOS ANGELES (1) - Announced Darren Oliver, lhp, had accepted salary arbitration.

MINNESOTA (1) - Re-signed Nick Punto, ss, to an $8.5 million, two-year contact.
