
At Waterloo, three different players had two hits and Garrett McClain homered as fifth-ranked Waterloo West improved to 18-4 with a 5-1 win Wednesday over West Delaware.
Jeremy Wright, Andy Wolfe and Max Shower each collected two hits for the Wahawks. Wolfe had a double and drove in two, while Shower scored twice.
McClain's home run came in the fourth inning.
Chris Baish and Max Nank combined to allow only seven hits and hold the Hawks scoreless the final six innings.
West is at Iowa City High Friday.
