CEDAR RAPIDS - Host Cedar Rapids Xavier posted a two-under par score of 142 to edge Waterloo West by two strokes for the team title at a triangular meet here Thursday.

J.P. King shot a 33 for the Saints to take medalist honors, one shot ahead of the Wahawks' Nathan Meisinger. As a team, West had seven players shoot between 34 and 40.

East quadrangular

WATERLOO - Cedar Rapids Prairie edged Dubuque Senior and Cedar Rapids Washington in a tightly contested quadrangular hosted by Waterloo East at Gates Park Golf Course Thursday.

The winning Hawks' top individual scores were a 39 and a 40.
