AMES - A number of Northeast Iowa standouts will lead the North squad into the 37th annual Iowa Shrine Bowl football game Saturday at 7 p.m. at Jack Trice Stadium.

Brett Bengen of Gladbrook-Reinbeck, Wes Boyer of Cedar Falls, Cody Gericke of East Buchanan, Wyatt Hanus of North Tama, Dallas Hendrikson of St. Ansgar, DaeJohn Love of Waterloo East, Truman Novak of Crestwood, Mike Perez of Dike-New Hartford, Keaton Rickels of Iowa Falls-Alden, Matt Samec of New Hampton, Brett Van Sloten of Decorah, Clayton Werkman of Waverly-Shell Rock and Michael Wiegmann of Aplington-Parkersburg have been selected to participate in the annual fundraising event for Shriners' hospitals.
