
CEDAR FALLS - NU High's offense continued to produce as the Panthers banged out a dozen hits to defeat Jesup, 10-4, in a rescheduled North Iowa Cedar League baseball game Wednesday.
Calvin Siebel doubled twice and drive in two runs, while Nate Smith and Kyle Denning also had multiple hit games for sixth-ranked NU High (11-2 overall, 6-1 NICL), which ran its winning streak to eight games.
"Right now we are swinging the bat with a lot of confidence from top to bottom in the lineup," said Panthers coach Brent Denning.
Tanner Cooke scattered nine hits while going the distance on the hill.
