IOWA CITY - Iowa City West made quick work of Waterloo East Wednesday in a Mississippi Valley Conference doubleheader, topping the Trojans 16-2 and 11-1 in a pair of five-inning contests.

Corey Frickson went 2-for-3 and Justin Koweil was 2-for-2 with a double in the opener for East. Michael Thompson was 2-for-2 and Koweil tripled in the nightcap.
