MARSHALLTOWN - The Cedar Falls boys' cross country squad continued its assault on Central Iowa Thursday, as it rolled to a team title the Bobcat Invitational.

Spurred by junior Tanner Reyhons (fourth place, 16 minutes, 21 seconds) and senior Jacob Tayloe (eighth, 16:27) the Tigers won a team title just a week after also winning at Ames.

"We ran fantastic for a meet of that caliber," Cedar Falls coach Troy Becker said afterward. "This was a big win for the Tigers."

In girls' action in Marshalltown, West Des Moines Dowling ran away with a team title, accumulating just 24 places. Cedar Falls (114) finished third, led by a ninth-place performance from sophomore Hannah Savage, who crossed the finish line in 15:56.
