LINCOLN, Neb. - The Upper Iowa men's golf team continued to stand in ninth place after 36 holes in the NCAA Division II Central/West Regional at Wildnerness Ridge Golf Course Tuesday.

The Peacocks matched their opening round score with a 303 Tuesday and are tied with Grand Canyon University for ninth. UIU is just six shots behind Cal-State Monterey Bay for sixth place.

The Peacocks' Adam Winans is tied for 19th overall after shooting his second straight 2-over 74.

The top five teams at the Central/West Regional, along with the top two individuals not on one of the qualifying teams will advanced to the national meet.

The final round was scheduled for today.
