
PEORIA, Ill. - Topped by Heather Frye, Northern Iowa finished in a fifth-place tie Sunday at The Hotels at Grand Prairie Golf Classic here.
Frye led the Panther women by finishing in fifth place with a 36-hole score of 156. Drake, which won the event, was paced by Olivia Lansing, who claimed medalist honors at 149.
The tournament was originally scheduled as a two-day event. With bad weather forecast for the Peoria area today, the decision was made to finish Sunday with 36 holes.
