Luther College's fifth-ranked wrestling team went 4-0 at the portion of the Iowa Conference Duals held at Central College, including a key victory over No. 24 Buena Vista, 26-18.

Meanwhile, in the IIAC Duals held at Simpson College, Wartburg went 3-0 on the day, extending its conference winning streak to 112 duals.

At Central College in Pella, Luther got a win by fall from Matt Pyle at 149 pounds and decisions by Nate Van Dyke and Alec Bonander at 165 and 197 to slip by the Beavers in their high-profile Division III dual.

The Norse also collected impressive victories over No. 16 Loras, 35-6, No. 17 Cornell, 35-9, and winless Central, 45-9. Buena Vista finished second at the site, going 3-1 thanks to a narrow 21-18 win over Cornell.

At Indianola, the Knights improved to 18-1 overall and 6-0 in the IIAC by whipping Dubuque, 46-3, Coe, 25-12 and Simpson, 52-0. In the key win over the Kohawks, Wartburg strung together seven consecutive wins beginning with Adam Weber's 11-7 decision at 149. Aaron Wernimont, Jason Knipp, Craig Kreman, Romeo Djoumessi, T.J. Miller and Blake Gillis followed with wins between 157 and heavyweight to give the Knights an insurmountable lead.
