CEDAR RAPIDS -- Iowa City West, the state's No. 3 ranked Class 4A team, won all six of its matches and topped the field of 24 to claim the title of the annual West Side volleyball tournament held at Cedar Rapids Jefferson High Saturday.

Columbus, 1-2 in pool play, lost in the semifinals of the Silver Bracket. The Sailors topped Jefferson 2-0 in the first round before falling to Wahlert, 2-0, in the semifinals.

In the Bronze Bracket Waterloo West, 0-3 in pool play, scored a 2-0 win over Indianola before falling to Des Moines Roosevelt, 2-1 in the quarterfinals.

Dike-New Hartford won all six of its games in pool play, but was eliminated in the first round of the Gold Bracket when the Wolverines fell to Kennedy, 27-25 and 25-18.

Tripoli fell to Linn-Mar of Marion in the Silver Bracket.
