COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - Kyle Bermel fired a closing round of 70 Sunday as the University of Northern Iowa men's golf team climbed to a 14th-place finish at the Falcon Invitational at Colorado State.

Bermel finished the weekend at 217 to tie for 20th place individually. Northern Colorado's Steve Bidne shot a 206 to take medalist honors.
