WATERLOO -- The Waterloo Black Hawks have added a game to their preseason slate.
The Black Hawks will host the Green Bay Gamblers on Sept. 20 at 7:05 p.m.
The game comes one night after the Black Hawks face the Gamblers in Green Bay. In all, the Black Hawks will play six preseason games, including the USHL Fall Classic in Sioux City.
Tickets for the Sept. 20 game are on sale at Young Arena.
Tickets are also available for the Black Hawks' preseason "Face-Off for Flood Relief" game against Cedar Rapids Sept. 17 at Young Arena.
All proceeds from the game will benefit both the LSB Foundation Flood Relief and the Greater Cedar Rapids Community Foundation's Flood 2008 Fund.
"The spirit that the residents of the Cedar Valley and Cedar Rapids have shown since the flooding is an inspiration to me personally and to everyone who has witnessed the recovery," said Black Hawks head coach and general manager P.K. O'Handley. "I think this game will do a lot for these communities, as well as help show our players that dedication and teamwork does not just happen on the ice. It also happens in our cities and neighborhoods."
Tickets are $5 for the "Face-Off For Flood Relief" and can be purchased online at www.waterlooblackhawks.com. Tickets will also be available at the Young Arena box office the day of the game.
