CEDAR RAPIDS - Luther earned six all-conference selections - including three first-teamers - when the All-Iowa Conference softball squads were announced last week.

Fellow NCAA Tournament participant Wartburg wasn't far behind, receiving four honorees, including two first-team selections.

The Norse were represented on the league's first team by first baseman Danielle Armbruster (35 RBIs), third baseman Lauran Snyder (five home runs) and versatile junior Anna Simonson (.390).

The Knights saw pitcher Angela Hartwig (16-4) and outfielder Tina Vande Hoef (.388) receive first-team selections.
