FINDLAY, Ohio - Upper Iowa gained one spot to eighth place after completing two rounds Friday in the NCAA Division II women's golf championship at Findlay Country Club.

After rain postponed Thursday's round, the Peacocks shot 329 and 322 in the second and third rounds to tie Northern Sun Conference rival Concordia-St. Paul for eighth with a total score of 972.

Rachael Schmidt leads UIU with a 235 total, good for a 17th-place tie after rounds of 80, 78 and 77. Twin sister Rochelle Schmidt is tied for 36th with a total of 241.
