Egad! Peasants, I'm issuing the following climate warning: If the wind blows out of the north this week, we'll get a sample of the odor emanating from Minneapolis, where the Vikings and Goofers live. Kaff-kaff!

Talk about a pair of sorry efforts. Egad - the Vikes are a versatile bunch. Not only can't they tackle, but they can't run and they can't throw, either. In the NFC North, that sounds like a winner to me. Harrumph!

And the Gophers barely fired a shot in their loss to Penn State and 150-year-old Joe Paterno. Joe Pa looks to be in good health, though. That's more than I can say for the Cleveland Indians. My spies tell me the severe bruises in the throat area won't heal until spring training. Kaff-kaff!

Anyway, our lucky winner did not choke this week. Ken Damon of Eldora picked a perfect card and won with 31 on the points tie-breaker. Our congratulations, and the $100 is on the way. It should get there before Duante completes a pass to one of his own men. Harrurmph!
