CEDAR RAPIDS - Cedar Falls and Waterloo West each claimed victories Saturday at the annual John Ask Relays boys' track meet at Kingston Stadium.

The Tigers, who finished third in the team standings, took the medley relay with Austin Long, Jesse Alexander, Jordan Velasquez and Drew Poland running.

West, fifth in the seven-school meet, was the winner in a trio of running events. Terrance Roberts was the high hurdles champion. The Wahawks 4 x 200 relay, consisting of Roberts, Isiah Cook, Collin Styron and John Holler, was a first-place finisher. West also capped off the meet with a triumph in the 4 x 400, as Cook Holler, Styron, and Jerrold Manago carried the baton.

Iowa City West won the team title with 317 1/2 points.
