Tickets to WICKED, a new musical with music and lyrics by Stephen Schwartz (Godspell, Pippin, Academy Award winner for Pocahontas and The Prince of Egypt) and book by Winnie Holzman ("My So Called Life," "Once And Again" and "thirtysomething") based on the best-selling 1995 novel by Gregory Maguire.

WICKED, Des Moines' most eagerly anticipated stage production will begin performances at the Civic Center on Sept. 23 for a limited engagement of four weeks through Sunday, Oct. 18, 2009.

In Des Moines, WICKED will play Tuesday through Saturday evenings at 7:30 p.m., Sunday evenings at 6:30 p.m., Saturday matinees at 2 p.m. and Sunday matinees at 1 p.m. Ticket range from $32.50 to $127.50. All pricing includes a Building Restoration Fee of $2.50.
