WATERLOO -- Waterloo police are asking for the public's help in locating a stolen full deer head mount, valued at $10,000.

The mount was stolen Thursday night from Midwest Auto Parts, 275 Rampart Lane, Waterloo.

The owner had the deer head mounted in 1997. The mount is of a 16-point buck with various unusual tines.

Anyone with information on the stolen mount should call Waterloo police at 291-2515.
