LA PORTE CITY - Deputies have levied more charges against two men for allegedly supplying a juvenile with methamphetamine and have arrested to other men for doing the same.

Eugene Joseph Youngblut, 38, of La Porte City, and Michael Lee Francisco, 22, of Waterloo, were arrested earlier for giving meth to a 14-year-old girl.

Deputies then arrested them Thursday on allegations that they gave meth to a 16-year-old. The new charges include two counts each of delivery of methamphetamine to a minor.

Deputies also arrested Daniel Jacob Loeb, 24, of 201 Chestnut St., and Corey Raymond Hess, 21, of 6715 Sunnyside Road, for giving meth to the same 16-year-old.

Loeb was arrested on four counts of delivery of meth of a minor, and Hess was arrested on two counts.

The investigation is continuing, said Deputy Tony Thompson with the Black Hawk County Sheriff's Office.

"The sheriff's office takes a very dim view of people who provide meth to people underage," said Thompson, who said it was especially concerning given meth's highly addictive nature.

Youngblut's allegedly provided meth to Hess with the intent the drug would be passed on to the juvenile in August and November at Youngblut's LaPorte City home.

Youngblut "produced a bag of methamphetamine and prepared it specifically for the juvenile's consumption," court records state. The youth then used the drug.

Francisco allegedly "provided methamphetamine on multiple occasions over a four-month time period" between December and March, court records state, and Loeb provided the number a number of times between November and March.
