WAVERLY -- More than 50 prizes, including a vacation, prints, gift certificates and tickets to see the Cubs, Cardinals and Twins play will be available at a benefit for the Tim and Sue Fisher family.

The Fisher family faced a series of health issues. In 2006, Cody, 19, contracted meningococcal disease and endured six surgeries, including below-the-knee amputations of both legs. Kaylee, 14, was diagnosed with cystic fibrosis, and Sue has suffered heart arrhythmia and cardiac arrest.

The benefit will be Saturday at the Waverly-Shell Rock Junior High School. Donations will be accepted for a meal that includes sandwiches contributed by pork producers. Food will be available from 4 to 7 p.m.

A silent auction will be from 4 to 7 p.m. A dance will start at 8 p.m. with music provided by the Celestial Knights.

Thrivent Financial for Lutherans will add supplemental funds.

Auction items include an overnight stay at Grand Harbor Hotel and Waterpark in Dubuque; movie passes to the Palace Theatre; a pool table and two air hockey tables from Scheel's; an Iowa football signed by Matt Roth; handmade quilts; Waverly-Shell Rock athletic punch cards and T-shirts; a party at Waverly's municipal swimming pool; six months of Chiropractic care at Keller Chiropractic; mini football helmet signed by Jerod DeVries; Notre Dame apparel and football signed by coach; Jeff Franzen "Seinfeld" dinner for eight; plane flight to destination within 120 miles of Waverly along with $75 towards a meal; K.C. Chiefs jacket signed by Casey Wiegmann; Ironclad work gloves and shirts; and a signed Green Bay Packer football;

Tickets will be available to "Tulip Time" in Pella; Lost Island Waterpark; and Faith Lutheran Church steak fry.

Prints will be available from Mike Parker; Hatala Wartburg; P. Buckley Moss; and Ducks Unlimited.

Gift certificates will be available from Jiva Lifestyle Salon and Spa; Fainting Goat; Tropical Tan; Brown Bottle; Applebee's; Expressions Salon; Donna Busch Photography; Kwik Star; Corner Cuts; Super Wash; Sub City; Brandenburg's; Godfather's; Hobson's Dairy Queen and Subway.
