SUMNER - Four Sumner businesses were recovering Saturday after burglaries Friday night.
Mary Burgart, owner of Burgart Sport Shop, said someone broke into their business and stole fishing equipment, fishing lures, potato chips and lighters, among other things. She was still trying to establish what all had been stolen late Saturday afternoon.
"They tried to get in the door and ended up breaking in through the window," Burgart said.
Burgart said the Thunder Lanes bowling alley, Klenzman Tires and Papa Dan's Pizza were also burglarized.
The Courier was unable to reach the Sumner Police Department for information about the burglaries.
