ELGIN (AP) -- A Northeast Iowa woman is accused of taking more than $10,000 from a rehab center.
Patti Mittelstadt of Elgin is charged with first-degree theft.
Mittelstadt, a partner in Heartland Rehabilitation of West Union, is accused of misappropriating the money over a three-year period, according to the Fayette County Sheriff's Department.
The arrest followed an investigation by the sheriff's and the county attorney's offices.
Mittelstadt was released from jail on $10,000 bond.
