WELLSBURG - A 22-year-old Waterloo man was killed Friday morning in a single-vehicle accident on Highway 20 six miles northwest of Wellsburg.

Jeremiah Glunt was driving west around 5:40 a.m. when he lost control of his 1995 Chevrolet pickup truck on the icy road surface and entered the median, according to the Grundy County Sheriff's Office. The truck rolled, and Glunt was ejected.

Glunt was transported to Grundy County Memorial Hospital, where he died, according to the sheriff's office.

The accident remains under investigation. The Wellsburg Fire and Ambulance assisted at the scene.
