JOHNSTON (AP) - Officials say 30 Iowa Air National Guard airmen will be welcomed home during a ceremony.
The homecoming for the 132nd Security Forces Squadron, which is based out of Des Moines, was scheduled for Monday morning at the Iowa Air National Guard Airbase in Des Moines.
According to a news release, the squadron provided base security at Eskan Village, Saudi Arabia as part of Operations Enduring Freedom, Iraqi Freedom and the Global War on Terror.
The airmen left Iowa in May 2008 and completed combat training before being deployed.
