CEDAR FALLS -- American bluesman Kenny Neal brings his axe to Waterloo's Electric Park Ballroom on Nov. 22 for the 2008 Fall Blues Blowout, presented by the Friends of KUNI/KHKE.

Last spring, the musician released "Let Life Flow." The album marked the return of the modern swamp-blues master, with a set that draws musically from the sizzling sounds of his native Louisiana.

The Avey Brothers from Davenport, the 2008 Iowa Blues Challenge winner, will open the event. Showtime is 8 p.m.
