Raid of home leads to drug arrest

WATERLOO - A Waterloo man was arrested Friday in connection with a local drug-trafficking scheme.

The Black Hawk County Sheriff's Office led a raid on the residence of Bradley Boesen, 44, of 1211 Bertch Ave., discovering a substantial quantity of marijuana in the home. The Waterloo Police Department and the Tri-County Drug Task Force assisted in the effort.

Boesen was arrested and taken to the Black Hawk County Jail on charges of possession with the intent to distribute marijuana while in possession of a firearm and violation of the drug tax stamp law.
