CEDAR FALLS -- Tickets are now being sold for the 10th annual Wing Ding, Music & Things, which will be Sept. 4 from 5 to 8 p.m. at Overman Park in Cedar Falls.
In celebration of its 10th anniversary the Greater Cedar Valley Chamber of Commerce is bringing in legendary blues band Bob Dorr and the Blue Band and offering free can-koozies to the first 500 people through the gates.
Participants will be able to enjoy samples from the following vendors: Applebee's, River City Beefstro, Red River Steaks & BBQ, Hy-Vee Cedar Falls, Fareway-Hansen's Dairy, Fareway-Blue Bunny and Toad's Bar & Grill.
In addition to chicken wings, other food samples available include ice cream.
Advance tickets are $5 and are available at both Cedar Valley Chamber locations and participating vendors.
Tickets will also be available at the gate for $10.
Wing Ding's 2008 sponsors include ME&V, United Rentals, Signs & Designs, radio station KCVM-FM 96.1 Mix 96, Financial Decisions Group, Allen Hospital, Community National Bank, Bravo Printing Company, Wheaton Franciscan Healthcare, Financial Architects, Courier Communications and Cedar Falls Times.
