GILBERTVILLE - Bricks engraved with military veterans' information are being sold to support a local veterans memorial.

The Gilbertville Visioning Committee is taking orders for bricks to support enhancement of the Gilbertville Veterans Memorial Park.

Individuals may purchase bricks in three different sizes, and include the names of one or more veterans, their ranks, branches of service, dates of service and other pertinent information.

All donations are tax deductible and support building the Gilbertville Veterans Memorial Park to honor veterans, according to the committee.

Donor forms are available at Farmers State Bank and Schares Food Mart in Jesup; Farmers State Bank in Raymond; Cedar Valley Bank & Trust, Casey's and Pronto in La Porte City; and Regions Bank, Mini-Mart, City Hall and Dew Drop Inn in Gilbertville.
