CLERMONT - An 19-year-old St. Lucas woman wanted in a string of burglaries was arrested Sunday.

Rachel Marie Montes was taken into custody Sunday afternoon on warrants for possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver and numerous burglaries.

The Fayette County Sheriff's Office said they believe Montes was involved in eight burglaries in West Union, Hawkeye and Clermont.

Anthony Postel, 21, and Andrew Postel, 24, both of St. Lucas, were also involved, the sheriff's office said.

Deputies discovered evidence linking the trio to the burglaries after executing search warrants on their home in St. Lucas.

Montes is being held at the Fayette County Jail on a $35,000 bond.

Andrew Postel is still at large, the sheriff's office said.
