CEDAR FALLS --- Cedar Falls police are investigating a rash of car and garage burglaries.

On Oct. 28, police were called to the area of the Ridges, in which several vehicles and garages had been broken into and items taken. On Oct. 29, the area of Terrace Drive and Neola had the same types of break-ins.

Then, on Tuesday, police received reports of garage and vehicle burglaries in the area of West 10th Street.

Police are asking for the public's assistance in locating the person or persons responsible for these break-ins. Police are asking citizens who see anything suspicious to notify police at 291-2515. Citizens are reminded not to take action themselves.
