CEDAR FALLS - The 2008 Heroes Among Us event will be at 7:30 a.m. March 26 at Park Place Event Centre in Cedar Falls. Doors will open before 7 a.m.

Kendall Vry of Parkersburg, workplace safety

Recipients' deeds varied from saving lives during an EF5 tornado to providing lifesaving CPR to a toddler and making life a little brighter for a teenager in need. Their full stories will be shared during the event.

Money raised during the event will be used by Covenant and Sartori foundations for the emergency services departments at both hospitals.
