WATERLOO - Eleven downtown Waterloo businesses are teaming up with Main Street Waterloo to create a Taste of 'Loo from 5 to 9:30 p.m. Jan. 22.
With the purchase of a passport, each of the participating establishments will provide attendees with a sample of their specialty.
Participating locations include:
Arthouse Cafe at the Waterloo Center for the Arts, 225 Commercial St., with Chef Lidija Golub.
The Brown Bottle, in the grand lobby of the Russell Lamson Building, 209 W. Fifth St.
Classic Kitchen & Bath, 220 E. Fourth St., Chef Sengun.
Cottonwood Canyon, 218 E. Fourth St.
Cu Restaurant, 320 E. Fourth St., Chef Mark.
Doughy Joey's Peetza Joynt, 300 W. Fourth St.
Jameson's Public House, 310 E. Fourth St.
La Chiquita Mexican Restaurant, 301 E. Fourth St.
Lucy's Cafe, inside River Plaza Athletic Club, 10 W. Fourth St.
Sans Souci Restaurant, inside Bridges Senior Lifestyle Living Community, 214 Washington St., Chef Cherrie.
The Screaming Eagle American Bar and Grill, 228 E. Fourth St.
Passports are $20 and will be available at the Main Street Waterloo office, 329 E. Fourth St., on Wednesday. The office is open from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. For more information, call 291-2038.
