Waterloo man arrested in incident involving golf carts

WATERLOO - A Waterloo man has been arrested after he and a friend allegedly crashed golf carts during an April outing.

Black Hawk County sheriff's deputies arrested Cody Allan Lamprecht, 20, of 917 Adrian St., Waterloo, June 3 for second-degree criminal mischief and reckless driving.

He has been released pending trial.

According to court records, Lamprecht and another person rented golf carts at Irv Warren Golf Course on April 25.

The two allegedly rammed the carts together and drove them into wooded areas and other locations where carts aren't allowed.

They also drove across the No. 5 green, leaving tire tracks.

Damage to the carts was estimated at $3,000.

Witnesses identified Lamprecht from a photo lineup, court records state.
