African Art in Performance: The Winiama Masks of the Village of Ouri, Burkina Faso

Details: Attend a free showing of this documentary film by Dr. Christopher Roy, professor of African art history at the University of Iowa for 30 years.

Details: Staff from the Hearst Center for the Arts will be on hand to help make a craft with children. Children ages 3 to 11 can participate in this free activity.

Maize Maze

Details: Postville junior class will be on hand to provide lots of ghosts and ghouls among the corn. Real pirates will help guide visitors through the maze at night, with unexpected turns and twists.

Details: Join the symphony as it wishes 80th birthday wishes to composter Samuel Adler, who will introduce one of his works for orchestra and conduct another with WCFSO Music Director Jason Weinberger as clarinet soloist. Weinberger will then lead the orchestra on Mendelssohn's Symphony No. 3 in a, op.56 "Scottish."
