Today's forecast: Scattered flurries. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 30. Blustery, with a west northwest wind between 15 and 18 mph, with gusts as high as 25 mph. Tonight: Partly cloudy, with a low around 11. West northwest wind between 11 and 14 mph becoming calm. Winds could gust as high as 20 mph.

Here's what's going on today in the Cedar Valley:

-- The Cedar Falls Community Theatre production of "Lend Me a Tenor" will be 7:30 p.m. at Oster Regent Theatre in downtown Cedar Falls. There will also be shows at 7:30 p.m. Saturday and 2 p.m. Sunday. Tickets are $20 for adults and $12 for students. Call 277-5283.

-- Toddler Time for 2 year olds is 10:30 a.m. at the Cedar Falls Public Library.

-- There will be a puppet show for children today at 2:30 p.m. at the Cedar Falls Public Library.

-- The Comdy Troupe Half-Masted 2.3 will perform at 6:30 p.m. at the Cedar Falls Public Library. Doors open at 6 p.m.

-- The Waterloo Black Hawks will play Cedar Rapids at Young Arena at 7 p.m. For tickets, call 291-7680 or go to www.waterlooblackhawks.com.

-- The Friend of the Public Library will hold its annual book sale today from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. and on Saturday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
