Here is what is going on today in the Cedar Valley:

-- Toddler Time story time is 9:30 and 10:30 a.m. for 2 year olds at the Cedar Falls Public Library.

-- Preschool Story Time is 10:30 a.m. at the Waterloo Public Library.

-- The Friend of the Waterloo Public Library will continue its sale of romance paperbacks in the lobby of the library. Books sell for 10 cents.

-- It's early out day for school children in Waterloo and there are two after-school events at the Waterloo Center for the Arts for them. From 3-5 p.m. is Playing with Fire for ages 13-16. The cost is $15 per student. At the same time is Early Out with Art for ages 6-10. Cost is $10 per student.

-- The Wartburg men and women's basketball teams will have home games against Cornell College starting at 6 p.m. Games are played in the new 'W" recreation center on the Wartburg College campus in Waverly.

-- The UNI men's basketball team is back home with a game against Wichita State, a team they beat in Wichita. The game starts at 7:05 p.m. in the McLeod Center in Cedar Falls. For tickets, call 273-4849 or go to www.unipanthers.com.

-- The Iowa State Wrestling Tournament kicks off today in Des Moines. Today from 1-4:30 p.m. will be Class 1A first round and first round consolations. From 6:30-10 p.m. will be Class 2A first round and first round consolations.

-- A Class 4A regional boys' basketball regional quarterfinal game of Waterloo West versus Waterloo East will be 7 p.m. at West High School.
