CEDAR FALLS - Independent filmmaker Beau Batterson will hold a casting call Sunday for his latest film, "Hellcats," a tongue-in-cheek actioner about an underground all-cheerleader fight club.

Auditions will be from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Park Place Event Center, 1521 Technology Parkway. Batterson, who calls the short feature "Fight Club" meets "Mean Girls," is seeking girls that can play between 16-18, as well as men and women in their 40s.

Batterson's last movie, "Adventures in Zombie-Sitting" was selected for this year's Cedar Rapids Film Festival.
