WAVERLY - A Waverly resident and a Cedar Falls resident face multiple charges, when authorities from the Bremer County Sheriff's Office seized an undisclosed amount of methamphetamine, pseudoephedrine, prescription drugs and drug paraphernalia Wednesday at a residence here.
Jodi Kay Perry and Susan June Alberts, both 46, were arrested at Perry's residence, 2909 E. Bremer Ave., Lot 40, which sheriff's deputies executed a search warrant and found the materials they subsequently seized.
Perry was charged with conspiracy to manufacture methamphetamine, a Class C felony; possession of a controlled substance-methamphetamine third or subsequent offense, a Class D felony; pharmacy pseudoephedrine sale restriction-penalty, a serious misdemeanor; and unlawful possession of a prescription medication, a serious misdemeanor.
Alberts, of 2421 Victory Drive, Cedar Falls, was charged with conspiracy to manufacture methamphetamine, a Class C felony; delivery of a controlled substance-methamphetamine, a Class C felony; possession with intent to delivery a controlled substance-methamphetamine, a Class C felony; and possession of drug paraphernalia, simple misdemeanor.
Both subjects were taken to the Bremer County Jail, where they being held pending initial appearance with Magistrate.
Assisting the sheriff's office were the Waverly Police Department and the Tri-County Drug Enforcement Task Force.
