.JOHNSTON (AP) - Authorities say a fatal house fire last month in the Des Moines suburb of Johnston was intentionally set.

The body of homeowner Lloyd Kennedy was discovered in the fire-gutted home, where a blaze broke out on Sept. 26. The cause of his death remains under investigation.

Officials with the state fire marshal's office say an investigation showed there were two gas cans inside the home.

Test results released this week also showed that gas was poured in multiple locations inside the house.

No other information was immediately available.
