CEDAR FALLS - Cedar Falls police have arrested a man for sexual abuse.

Simon Curtis Tooson, 24, of 638 Cottage St., Waterloo, was arrested Wednesday for third-degree sexual abuse, a Class C felony.

Police said that on Sunday, they responded to a report of a sexual assault that took place at a Cedar Falls residence. The investigation showed that an adult male engaged in sexual activity with a female who was below the age of consent.
