HAMPTON - An advisory has been posted for Beed's Lake near Hampton due to high bacteria level.

Due to heavy rains in parts of the state, several beaches experienced higher levels of bacteria, according to the Iowa Department of Natural Resources.

Advisories have been posted for two of the beaches: Beed's Lake and Pine Lake near Eldora.
