WATERLOO - A Waterloo man was arrested after he allegedly fled from police during a traffic stop and left his 3-year-old son in the car.
Police arrested Adarris Damond Burt, 33, of 832 Kern St., Tuesday for child endangerment, possession of methamphetamine, driving while suspended an interference.
Officers pulled over Burt's Chrysler LHS in the 400 block of Reber Avenue at about 5:15 p.m. for suspicious behavior.
Burt got out of the car and ran off, leaving his son in the back seat, according to court records.
Police found Burt a short distance away, and he was subdued with the use of a Taser, court records state.
Inside the car, officers found a plastic packet with meth residue.
