TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (AP) - Former Iowa basketball player Jake Kelly has signed a basketball letter of intent with Indiana State.
The 6-foot-6 guard played at Carmel High School in Indiana and averaged 11.6 points a game last season in his second year at Iowa. After the season, he decided to transfer to be closer to home.
He started the final 24 games for the Hawkeyes and twice was named Big Ten player of the week.
Indiana State also has announced the signings of three high school players: 6-2 Jake Odom of Terre Haute South, and 6-4 twin brothers Logan and Lucas Eitel of nearby Marshall (Ill.) High School, the same school Kelly attended before moving to Carmel as a junior.
