WATERLOO - Police were called to a convenience store parking lot after people began shooting at each other Wednesday night.

No injuries were reported, and the suspects and victims had fled the area before officers arrived, according to the police report.

The shooting started at about 6:40 p.m. outside Express Mart, 1027 E. Fourth St.

An employee inside the store set off the holdup alarm, and others in the area phoned 911 about the attack.

Police found 11 9mm shell casings in the area.
