WATERLOO - A Waterloo woman faces drug charges after a search of her home early today.

Alana Kay Weaver, 27, of 1215 Hartman Ave., faces a charge of possession with the intent to deliver methamphetamine, a Class C felony.

Black Hawk County Sheriff's deputies executed a search warrant at her home early today after receiving information of illegal drug trafficking taking place there. During the search, officers reportedly located methamphetamine and other indications of drug trafficking, deputies said.

Deputies were assisted by the Waterloo Police Department and the Tri-County Drug Task Force.
