WEST DES MOINES (AP) - Police say heavy foot traffic at an apartment in West Des Moines led to the arrest of 13 men for prostitution.
Police spokesman Lt. Jeff Miller says police set up a prostitution sting after complaints from management at Westown Parkway Residences about the amount of traffic at one of their rooms.
Miller says in a news release on Wednesday that an investigation found that a woman was using the room and advertising her services on an online dating service.
Police set up the sting, which led to the arrest of 13 men over a five-day period from Feb. 16 to Feb. 24.
The men were released on a citation to appear in court later.
