CEDAR FALLS - A teenager was taken into custody Wednesday for breaking into homes on Longview Street.
Levi Farren Miller, 17, of 1115 Bertchwood Ave., was taken into custody for two counts of third-degree burglary, one count of attempted third-degree burglary and possession of prescription drugs.
Police were called to the 400 block of Longview Street at around 7:35 a.m. when a neighbor reported seeing Miller sticking his head in a window of a home.
Miller was located by police and found to be in possession of prescription drugs stolen from two separate homes on Longview Street.
Longview Street is in the North Cedar area, one of the areas hardest hit by flooding in June.
Miller was transported to the juvenile detention center.
