PLAINFIELD - A Waverly man died in a motorcycle accident early Saturday.

Craig Duane Jacobs, 41, died in the single-vehicle accident four miles northeast of Plainfield. The exact location was not stated.

The Bremer County Sheriff's Office responded to the accident about 12:05 a.m. Jacobs had been driving the motorcycle. A passenger, Mary Patrice Greco, no age available, of Waterloo, was injured. She was transported to Covenant Medical Center, and her sister reported she was in serious condition.

The accident remains under investigation.

Deputies were assisted by the Iowa State Patrol, Plainfield First Responders, Waverly ambulance, Nashua Police Department, Chickasaw County Sheriff's Office, Plainfield Fire Department and Covenant Air Care.
